1. Pears and foliage
Golden bosc pears gleam among an artful mess of berries and foliage, concealing the bases of the clean lines of candlesticks. The purples and greens of the leaves add a rich depth to the arrangement and make the perfect backdrop for the pears to shine against while the berries add texture. Having candlesticks in a variety of heights adds to the informal, organic nature of the tablescape and contributes much needed height.
2. Chic harvest
This chic tablescape radiates warmth and elegance. Unfinished wood candlesticks keeps the arrangement from feeling stuffy, the rust colored tapers bring in color and contribute to the comforting vibe of the tablescape. The central flower arrangement pulls in colors from the candles and candlesticks and features flowers of many different sizes and textures but maintains the muted color palette that gives this Thanksgiving tablescape its softness. The pinecones and tan checkered tablecloths pick up on the oranges and hones in on the autumnal feel.
3. Berries and pumpkins
This is a great option if you’re looking for a farmhouse feel for your Thanksgiving tablescape. It’s a delightful blend of rustic and modern, leaning on white and green to keep the aesthetic somewhat clean. Red berries add pops of color throughout and the white tray keeps everything feeling cohesive. Adding candles in rustic birch wood and brass candlesticks adds further interest and maintains the balance between rustic and modern.
4. Greenery garland
This simple and elegant option features a sage green garland punctuated by tea lights in clean glass votives. This laidback centerpiece allows the rest of the tablescape to draw more attention. Here woven placemats add texture, white pumpkins add a distinct fall flair, and a beige table runner pulls everything together and visually fills the space.
5. Pumpkins and candles
A garland makes another appearance here, but this time weaving amongst a charming arrangement of heritage pumpkins. The copper mugs echo the color and shape of the pumpkins and their metallic shine brightens up the tablescape. Clean-lined candlesticks are interspersed with the pumpkins, drawing the eye upward and adding a hint of whimsy to the tablescape.
6. Tiered fruit
This option is great if you usually have a warm Thanksgiving. Masses of fresh fruits and flowers spill from porcelain trays and vases, a perfect representation of the bounty of Thanksgiving but with a late summer vibe. The blues and whites are carried through the tablescape from the vessels to the plates, creating a cohesive but intentionally mismatched eclectic look. The bright yellows and greens and carefree nature of the flowers keeps this look loose.
7. Magnolia leaves
Magnolia leaves bring the drama as they cradle golden yellow persimmons and flowers ranging from bright white to rich magenta. The glossy green and matte brown of the underside unite these colors and reflect them beautifully in a modern and exuberant way. Melted candles add a worn in charm to create an overall effect that is both laidback and glamorous and somehow distinctly feminine without being over the top. Dark accents and plates lean into the effect and punctuates the bright pops of produce.
8. Wood features
Wood chargers get a guest appearance here, but this time as a centerpiece rather than their normal role under plates. Here they are artfully stacked and sport scattered pinecones and mini white and copper pumpkins. Fronds of eucalyptus and candlesticks loosen the tablescape up and silver votives add life to this otherwise fairly matte vignette. The woven runner keeps everything united and contrasts well against the dark wooden table.
9. White berries
For a somewhat ethereal Thanksgiving tablescape, try layering different whites with darker accents. A white tablecloth ruffled and puckered up gives a cloudlike appearance to the table, from which sprout candlesticks and amber bottles full of green leaves and white berries. Smooth white pumpkins act as a backdrop and steer this look into a Thanksgiving direction. Wood chargers tie into the amber bottles define the plates against the tablecloth and ground the tablescape, colored glasses also keep the glasses from being lost against the white.
10. Black and gold
Black and gold will never go out of style, at least not here at Lucky Girl Living. Matte black shows up in the tapers, plates, and runner, dark and moody. It’s echoed in the glasses, adding a translucent darkness to the tablescape. Gold cutlery and candlesticks gleam amongst the velvety black, creating a luxurious contrast. Clean, white pitchers visually tie in with the white tablecloth and keep the look from feeling heavy. Bundles of wheat or grass heads loosen everything up and add a delicate air to the tablescape.
11. Mini pumpkins
We love this Thanksgiving tablescape for its ease and fun. Hordes of miniature pumpkins of all shades of orange and white fill the center of a simple wooden table. Tall white candles add a warm glow and cotton buds lend a visual lightness against the chunky pumpkins. Orange and white checked placemats play off the pumpkins and keep the tablescape fun and playful.
12. Foraged greenery
For our final tablescape, marigolds, pomegranates, and metallic votives are nestled in a stout garland of foraged greenery. Leaves and blades of bright greens and dark purples give this centerpiece a lively and homemade feel. Coral napkins lean into this cheerful vibe and create an overall effect of carefree exuberance.
