1. Foliage focal point
Fall coffee table decor can be as simple as featuring a branch of beautiful leaves in a vase. The accompanying elements of candles and trays of pumpkins and acorns are simple, but add texture and pull the color throughout the space.
2. Rule of thirds
When in doubt, go for the Rule of Thirds! A stack of books, a vase, and a thick tray of pumpkins divide the table into roughly three sections. The pumpkins and the dried grasses give a nod to fall without feeling too on the nose.
3. Fall harvest
You’ll see a lot of pumpkins and gourds in fall coffee table decor, but the apples a fun touch that brings to mind the famous fall harvests. The wood of the trays and potted plant further emphasize the natural elements for an understated fall decor look.
4. Petite pumpkins
Okay, so maybe they’re gourds, not petite pumpkins, but the alliteration was too fun to pass up! An earthenware vase with fall leaves plays well against a woven tray of gourds offers a variety of textures that make this an engaging decor option.
5. Dark and modern
This monochromatic approach to fall coffee table decor feels dramatic and modern. All of the elements are in the same color family, but the different nuances of their patterns keep them from feeling boring. The gnarled branch and the candle lighten the look up and add a colorful focal point.
6. Book accent
The large tray of candles, pumpkins, and other fall elements is balanced out next to a pitcher of leaves, both featuring the rich oranges and browns of autumn. The stacks of books fill out the look and add a gives the look a more lived in, homey feel.
7. Textural focus
Texture plays a big role in some of our favorite fall coffee table decor options, and this one features that element well. The woven tray keeps everything feeling united, the look showcases fabric, stone, and earthenware, with a spray of dried flowers to crown it. Despite everything being of similar colors, the textures feel engaging.
8. Clustered vases
Pulling together a few vases of coordinating colors is a cool way to try something new this fall. We like that these are roughly of the same shape but in roughly different sizes. An autumn arrangement of flowers, berries, and leaves creates a focal point that’s accompanied by nearby pumpkins.
9. Dusty mauve
If traditional fall colors aren’t your favorite, fall coffee table decor can be tough to deal with. If that’s you, consider a color outside the traditional palette like mauve, plum, or dark blue. What’s great about this mauve example is that they’ve included a pumpkin, a traditional marker of fall, and mums, an autumn flower, to lean into the season is a different way.
10. Bright and clean
A vase of leaves, a woven basket, and two stacks that include books, one of which also features a candle, creates a fall look that has variety without looking cluttered. The bouquet of leaves is enough to point to fall in a simple, clean way.
11. Emphasis on nature
One of our favorite things about fall coffee table decor looks is that there’s so many options! If you’re looking for something transitional for late autumn, focusing on pinecones and evergreen fronds is a great option. All of the wood shown furthers that natural focus, with the candle adding some much needed light.
12. Wood on wood
Trays are the foundation of many of our coffee table examples (we actually have a whole post dedicated to them here), and this wood on wood option reads as rustic and warm. The variety of candles brightens the space and plays off the eucalyptus and the gourd, the smallest touch to remind you of fall.
13. Branch bouquet
This stunning bouquet graces this dainty coffee table to play a role in a simple and elegant fall coffee table decor look. The candles liven the look up and echo the verticality of the bouquet while the plate of gourds hammers in the autumn aesthetic in an easygoing way.
14. Clean and simple
Loads of light neutrals work their way around this space, creating a light and airy feel. With so much lightness, it wouldn’t take much to dominate the space, that’s why we love the choice of a small vase with autumn twigs for this look. It matches the scale and palette, delicate yet potent enough to invite fall into the room.
15. Fall flowers
We have another great transitional fall coffee table decor look, this time focusing more on early fall. The vase of sunflowers pulls the eye in with its lively colors and textural interest, accented by a woven basket of nuts, two stacks of books, and a stone bowl of incense. The textures are interesting and the warm colors hint to fall, with the nuts accentuating the autumnal feel.
16. Macrame accents
Macrame brings an artful, boho vibe to this look. The creamy color provides a beautiful backdrop to the vibrant bouquet in the center, while the texture of the weave pulls the eye throughout the look. The candles and pinecone are fun accents that fill the look out, but could easily be substituted if you wanted to.
17. Autumn purples
Purple is an underrated fall color in our opinion, so of course we had to feature a fall coffee table decor option that showcases its versatility! Dusky purple candles coordinate beautifully with the vase of rich purple leaves and berries, vivid against the whites and grays of the vase, tray, and gourd.
18. Large and in charge
If your living room and coffee table are fairly large, consider opting for a larger, simpler look. The vase housing voluminous foliage adds height to the look, the fine texture contrasting well against the solid heft of the pumpkins and books.
19. Fall colors
The bright orange bouquet is the only true fall element in this fall coffee table decor look, but somehow it still reads as fall. That’s because the large windows showcase the seasonal leaf change! With all that on display, all this look needed was this rusty orange foliage to look like a fresh and modern autumn decor look.
