1. Red dahlias and greenery
Rich red dahlias interspersed with lush greenery and vertical elements such as and cattails eucalyptus creates a striking and festive flower arrangement for fall. Berries provide a welcome textural addition and reinforce the vivid red without challenging the dahlias. If red and green is not your vibe, there are many other colors that could work in this arrangement.
2. Berries and hydrangea
Orchids and mums play second fiddle to a stunning bouquet of simple autumn flowers. Sprigs of berries add structure and height to the arrangement while green foliage fills out the vase. This idea lends itself well to using whatever you have on hand.
3. Deep red dahlias and yellow mums
Punches of reds and yellows make this fall flower arrangement of dahlias and mums memorable. Peruvian lilies and sprays of grasses make wonderful accents to add height and make the set up appear more voluminous.
4. Hydrangeas and goldenrod
A bouquet of white hydrangeas and goldenrod is a simple and elegant way to lighten your space. Keeping the arrangement to two varieties allows each to sing in its own way. The chunky hydrangeas contrast beautifully against the delicate goldenrod and deliver a carefree yet elevated look.
5. Orange mums and white roses
A rust orange Korean mum steals the show in this striking arrangement. White roses, cabbage, and seeded eucalyptus guest star as secondary features. Feathers and mushroom fit surprisingly well to give this piece an elevated (read: rich) country flair.
6. Sunflowers and chamomile
If feathers and mushrooms aren’t your thing, maybe sunflowers and chamomile is more up your alley. Monocultures are generally stunning just based off sheer quantity and create effective arrangements. Sunflowers and chamomile together bring a cottage-like charm and simplicity that is welcome as a cheerful pick me up.
7. Beech leaves and dahlias
To truly channel fall, try including some of the striking fall foliage. This arrangement sports golden beech leaves amongst cloudlike dahlias and golden spider mums. Other leaves we’d recommend: oak, maple, sweetgum, and Chinese pistache, but choose what you like most!
8. Dahlias and crabapples
The dynamic duo of our fall flower arrangements is back: stunning orange dahlias and scarlet mums. This time they are accompanied by crabapples and orange winterberry to create a tiny yet delightful arrangement sure to liven up any space as the temperatures start dropping.
9. Pink dahlias and dusty miller
Pale pink dahlias and dusty miller create a soft feminine centerpiece in a beautiful muted palette that seems to hint to the end of summer. Dark blue berries ground the arrangement and break up the softness of the dahlias just enough.
10. Pink peonies and amaranth
Silver brunia berries and pale pink peonies bring an icy glamour to this arrangement. Seasonal copper amaranth and fuschia hydrangea create a warm underlayer that spices it up and brings in fun visual textures. With the fun mix of warm and cool, this arrangement reads like late fall and early winter.
11. Antique hydrangeas and magenta ranunculus
Juliet and lavender latte roses, and faded pink antique hydrangeas clamor for our attention in this timeless arrangement. Magenta ranunculus peer through abundant green leaves and further add to this riot of gentle pinks, whites, and reds. The classic florals used contrast its undone appearance and perfectly balances an undone look with elegance.
12. Mums and ranunculus
If variety is the spice of life, this fall flower arrangement must be having a great time. Does that make sense? We don’t know. Koko Loko roses, chrysanthemums, ranunculus, crab apples, and snowberries all play nicely together to form a lush jumble of leaves and petals. Having a variety of sizes, textures, and colors while maintaining a coordinated color palette helps achieve a cohesive yet highly varied look.
13. Peonies, dahlias, and anemones
Dark green leaves provide the perfect backdrop for a gathering of peonies, dahlias, anemones, sweet peas, and apple blossoms. Ivy radiates from the vase, making this arrangement feel expansive and voluminous.
14. Roses and ranunculus
A luxurious mix of American and European roses are arranged in a gradient. Foxglove, ranunculus, and dried grasses are fanned out behind them and bring a just-harvested-from-the-field look that we can’t get enough of. Pointing some of the roses downwards further plays on this informal vibe and makes the roses feel modern rather than stuffy.
15. Protea, ranunculus, and dahlias
Start fall with a band with this scarlet arrangement of protea, ranunculus, and delicate dahlia. Choosing a monochromatic route is a great way to add a chic element to your space as it shows a dedication and forethought to your aesthetic choice. Choosing a dominant species with a few accent species also helps keep visual interest without being overwhelming.
16. Stonecrop and dahlias
All orange everything for the last of our fall flower arrangements. Burgundy stonecrop turns leads the way, paired with matching orange dahlias and berries. This arrangement strikes the perfect balance among the three elements and draws in the eye beautifully.
